Crypto vs. Stocks: What’s better?

By: Marvin Germo | March 26, 2021

There are different opinions about stocks being better than crypto and vice versa. I know you’ve been wanting to invest in both but you want to know which is better so you can spend your money wisely. This time, let me share with you what I think about crypto and stocks in terms of a better investment.

For new investors out there, stocks and crypto are entirely different portfolios. Depending on your risk tolerance, you can invest in both. You can also use the same trading or investing strategies in both investments. Make sure to follow your trading strategies to avoid unnecessary losses.

In terms of volatility

Investors have different perspectives when it comes to investing and trading. There are some who want to take the risks and trade volatile stocks while there are some who want a more stable portfolio. In terms of volatility and if you are someone who looks for a more stable portfolio, stocks are better than cryptocurrencies. Cryptos are volatile. One day you will see the market soaring then the next day, everyone dumps what they are holding. If you can’t take that kind of volatility and you want to secure your money, I suggest you invest in stocks more. To invest in Cryptocurrencies click here.

In terms of stability

Stocks are more stable but it will depend on the company you are going to buy. Good stocks with good fundamentals are stable. Reliable and stable companies are worth investing in. So, if you want to invest in stocks, you should also assess the fundamentals of the company you choose. Not all stocks are stable. There are also volatile ones, remember that. Meanwhile, cryptos can be considered stable as well, especially the ones with a large market cap like Bitcoin and Ethereum. These digital currencies are becoming more and more stable given the fact that there are already big companies starting to accept them as payments and real currencies. Overall, both stocks and crypto can be considered stable. To have a Bitcoin Wallet click here.

In terms of risk

Since cryptocurrencies are more volatile than stocks, you have to bear more risks when investing in them. If you can’t tolerate a high level of risks, then stocks are more favorable. Then again, it will depend on your risk tolerance. If you think you can bear the risks of investing in cryptocurrencies, it’s fine to try it and invest the amount you are willing to lose. Both stocks and cryptocurrencies are good investments. Make sure that you have enough knowledge to trade and invest in them. Your key here is not the type of investment, but how well you know the market, the fundamentals, and technicals that will have a big impact on your trading and investing plan. Whatever you choose between the two, always have your own plans and strategies. Don’t invest to lose your money. Invest to grow your savings so that at the end of the day, you are becoming more financially stable. Always have goals to follow. Assess the risk you can tolerate.
