HOW TO MAKE INVESTING MORE FUN

By: Marvin Germo | August 11, 2019

Investing Is Not Boring

Some people find investing or trading boring because it involves fundamentals and technicals. Some even say that it is just for nerd folks but let me tell you one thing—investing is actually fun when you have all the means to make it interesting. It’s not just for smart adults. It’s for all people who are willing to learn and risk. Investing, same as with trading, is not boring at all. You just have to make your own strategy so you can enjoy doing it. And once you have the channels to make it more fun, make it a hobby. Do it regularly like any other investors who do this for a living. Today, let me share with you how I make my investing and trading journey more fun. You can apply this to your everyday routine so wouldn’t have to think twice about quitting what you are doing

Find The Best Mentor

The fun starts with who you are working with. One of the best ways on how you can add spice to your investing journey is to find the best mentor. You will enjoy learning if you have the best teacher. And by finding the best mentor who will provide all your investing needs, I don’t mean you have to see them face-to-face. You can watch their mentoring videos, read their blogs, attend their seminars, read their books, and more so to engage yourself in their world. Even if you don’t see them personally everyday, you learn their ways by observing how they do things. Investing would be fun especially if you become more interested to read books and go to conferences to learn more about the stock market.

Invest In The Things You Like

Another way you can make investing more enjoyable is to list down all the things you like and invest in them. For example, if you like traveling a lot, you can research for stocks that are related to traveling. You can invest in airline companies. If you like technology, you can invest in technology firms too. One good thing about investing in the things you like is that you become more familiar to them. You get to read more updates especially if you need them to update your investing or trading plans. Always remember that when you do something you like to do, the fun never fades. The same applies to investing. Do it with gratitude.

Make It A Game

Play the stocks. Think of it as a game you have to win. Your money is important so it should be managed appropriately. You must gamify the process to make it alive. Give yourself a reward once you achieve a new milestone in your trading or investing journey. When you set a goal, it stimulates your mental process that can back up your success. Success becomes more self-fulfilling the more rewards you are able to give yourself.

I’m excited to share my 5th book overall and the 4th book in the Stock Smarts series, Stock Smarts: Breaking the Resistance – How to time your traders perfectly. The heart of this book is to teach you strategic ways on how to come in and buy and sell stocks in a way where you come as the market is headed up and come out as the market is headed down. The book is now out and exclusive via Marvin Germo Book Orders.
