Spend Enough For Food
It’s the Holiday season and it just means it’s a time to eat more! One thing you need to do when spending your holiday money is to spend enough amount for food. Enough that it can feed your whole family. It’s fine to spend on Noche Buena and Media Noche this time since we are celebrating a very important time in our lives. Just one reminder—do not buy food that you won’t eat and let it spoil. Consume the food you bought so you won’t regret spending after the New Year ends.
Budget Money For Gifts
You have to budget your money when buying gifts because if you don’t, you will end up using all your holiday money for gifts. This is one wise thing to do if you want to spend your money wisely. Set a budget for gifts then look for things that fit your budget. Don’t go over the amount you set. Just buy something that’s practical and at the same time, make sure that your family will like it. Again, it’s okay to be thrifty this time as long as it won’t compromise the quality of your time with your family.
Avoid Spending Money Outside Home
I know a lot of you are planning to travel after this Holiday. Some might even go outside to watch a movie, go shopping, or eat at fancy restaurants. I’m not saying there is something wrong about this. However, remember that you are saving. There is a lot of food at home, you don’t have to go outside and eat at expensive restaurants unless it is included in your budget. You can watch movies as long as you won’t spend beyond your budget. Just buy what you can afford and prioritize saving money.
