Do you want to Make Money and Grow Money?

YES, I want it!

Investing vs. Trading Crypto

By: Marvin Germo | March 25, 2021

Trading and investing are not the same. You should know that by now. There is a big difference between these two. If you have an investment in stocks and mutual funds and you hold it for the long term, then that’s investing. If you buy stocks with the goal of selling them after a week or a month, then that’s called swing trading. There’s a fine line between investing and trading and if you are looking forward to growing your money, you should be familiar with their difference. To trade Bitcoin click this.

In crypto, you can actually do both—invest in it and trade it at the same time. This is how you can do them.

Find two separate brokers

If you want to do both investing and trading at the same time, I suggest you find two brokers to do them separately. You can use one broker to invest and hold your crypto for the long term and you can use the other to trade crypto. When finding brokers, make sure that what you are choosing for your long-term investment is stable and has a good history of being a broker. You need to find a reliable one as you will use the wallet for a long time. On the one hand, you can use a broker like eToro to trade cryptocurrencies. Since the app is pretty easy to navigate, it’s easier to buy and sell crypto every time you need it. To invest in Cryptocurrencies click here.

Leave your investment, focus on your trading

The good thing about investing is that you may leave it for a while. There’s no need to monitor it from time to time unlike when you are trading. You can leave your investment and just open it every time you want to add money to it. If your goal is to wait for the crypto to increase in value, then you will have to count years of investing. Not monitoring your investment means you will have more time to focus on your trading strategies. When trading, you have to make sure that you have a strategy every time you trade. This strategy will save you from big losses in the future. To buy a Bitcoin Wallet click here.

Which is better between the two?

If you would ask me what’s better between investing and trading, I’d say it depends. If you don’t have enough knowledge about trading, then investing will suit you. In investing, there’s no need for you to define the best entry and exit points as you are going to hold the investments for years. Investing is better for those who are not experts yet in trading.

Trading, on the other hand, is good for experienced traders. If you have experience in trading already, such as stocks and forex, you may apply what you have learned in cryptocurrencies. Trading is good for short-term gains. If you want to earn in a shorter period of time, you can do trading.

However, I think investing gives higher returns. Your time waiting for your money to grow is more worth it than short-term gains.

eToro is a multi-asset platform which offers both investing in stocks and cryptoassets, as well as trading CFDs.

Please note that CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 67% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work, and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
