Good For Family Security
Aside from emergency funds and other liquid assets, insurance is good for family security. Whether you buy a life, fire, travel, property, or health insurance, the end goal is that you have something to rely on when serious life threats come up. Once you invest in insurance, your future emergencies are covered. There won’t be a need to spend a big stash of cash because your insurance is reliable. However, you need to keep in mind that it’s also important to keep emergency funds because both have different purposes.
Insurance Has An Investment Policy
For new investors who have no idea how to start investing, you can consider buying the investment policy of different insurance companies. Here, you don’t have to think to buy or sell your stocks everytime the market goes down. The insurance companies act as your fund managers since they are the ones choosing where to put your money. They are responsible for the buying and selling considering the goal of the investors to make profit as much as possible. Insurance is a good option especially if you’re focusing on the investment-linked insurance policy.
You Can Choose How Long You Would Like To Invest
Another good thing about investment-linked insurance policy is that you can choose how long would you like to pay for the monthly premium. Some insurance policies offer investment types wherein you only need to pay for 5-10 years and right after the time expires, you are free to choose to withdraw your money or continue the investment. Apart from the definite time for paying the premium, this type of policy is not that expensive. You can actually invest for as low as P1,500 per month. Surely a great option for those who have low budget but want to invest.
