Save The Date: Investment Conference 2015 - May 30, 2015

The PSEI has been hitting high upon high in the first few trading days of the year breaking every other resistance that has been holding it back.

There are several reasons for this very bullish outlook. First is that monetary tightening globally is happening slower than expected. This indicates that foreign funds, instead of flowing back to more developed markets such as the US and Europe, may stay in Asian markets. The recent investment upgrade also served as proof to the growing economy that our country has been experiencing. Through the financial seminars that we have organized, we have seen how the ordinary Filipino – young adult, working professional, aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs – have shown a strong desire and eagerness to learn how to earn, handle, manage and grow their money and assets wisely. This environment is the type of culture that we want to cultivate and nurture – a passion for personal financial literacy that will lead our fellow citizens even at their young age to financial freedom, especially at this season in which research shows that 87% of them are expressing a positive outlook in the next 3 to 5 years.

Last year, the Investment Conference dubbed ICON 2014 was held at the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia, Pasay City. With an actual attendance of 1,300 from various industries, cities and regions participated. The main topics centered on basic financial planning, stock market basics, managing debts, and entrepreneurial principles among others with the main objective of empowering the attendees to manage their own finances and assets, encourage and usher them to grow from being spenders to becoming investors.

With the success of ICON 2014, we want to thank you for your support. With over 1,300 people in attendance last year, the event has opened eyes that investing is indeed for everyone and this year was a good year to start. As our Philippine economy is continued to be carried forward by SME’s and people who have entrepreneurial mindset, of which the same constitute the profile of ICON attendees, it is our desire to feed the flame of the Filipino entrepreneurial spirit by teaching Filipinos more how to manage their finances and continue investing in their own ways. We want to equip them and see them fuel the economy stronger each year.

In this regard, the Investment Conference is coming back at the SMX Convention Center on May 30 , 2015 at 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a target participation of 1,500 attendees. With a bigger vision, we have gathered a bigger and stronger pool of local finance authorities in the country for this run!
