In terms of running a business, it’s no surprise that Chinese entrepreneurs maintain a good business image wherever they go. No matter what country you are in right now, there’s always one place they call as Chinatown where Chinese stores are built and operate to address the needs of Chinese people currently staying in that country and other customers of different nationalities. One good thing about this place is that it attracts different kinds of people from different regions of the world because of the brand they’ve embedded in the minds of their customers–the brand wherein they offer quality goods for a low and reasonable price. Of course as a consumer, who wouldn’t want to discover a product being sold at an affordable price? So if you’re someone who has a business or planning to build one, here’s the strategies you can use based on how Chinese do their business.

This is the best strategy to describe Chinese entrepreneurs. They are fine with small markup and margins as long as they have repeat customers. Isn’t this one of the reasons why Filipinos who shop in Divisoria keep on coming back? Because of the low priced items Chinese businessmen offer? This strategy will depend on the type of business you are running. But if it’s okay with you to accumulate large earnings with repeat customers, you can still apply this to your business especially if you are offering wholesale products. Using this strategy will help you gain loyal customers and build stronger bond with them that can be of your advantage for the long term.
Chinese people always choose to strive their targets. They work hard to push themselves so they can hit the goal they set for the day, week, or month. Despite the failures they experience in the midst of operating the business, they keep the spirit of hard work like it’s always the first day of doing business. You can apply this strategy to yourself and to your business. Just keep working hard and aim to hit your target everyday. Don’t stop until you fully cross off the things on your goals list.
Chinese entrepreneurs continue to migrate to different countries in the hopes of expanding their market. As they migrate, they don’t forget about their culture in China. They maintain what they do back in their home country while learning to blend in the new environment they have. If you’re planning to expand your business abroad, I recommend you to do the same because this will make you a remarkable business owner and your customers will recognize you for not giving up to your traditions. Never forget about the culture that raised you.
